Bridges

Ah yes, another digital photo I’ve massacred in Photoshop. I’m like the Hulk Hogan of… over-editing. Anyway, I shot this beast on a bridge spanning  the Red River – somewhere between Grand Forks North Dakota and East Grand Forks Minnesota. Inter-domestic waters, as they don’t say (or… over them, I guess).

And speaking of  destruction… ‘which photo is next?! Whatcha’ gonna’ do when these 4 inch pythons come for you, borther’?!

  1. Haha, it’s the WWF of post-processing. You’ve hit your file over the head with a folding chair. 😉

I read an on-line article the other day by a photographer who did a lot of this kind of work and he was bemoaning the fact that the Hipstamatic app has rendered all his hard work moot.

    • Ha! You said it, Robert! I even had someone distract the referee!

I can understand that frustration. On the other hand, if you’re having fun and getting results you’re happy with… there’s something to be said for that, too… I think. 🙂

  2. lol..this had to catch my eye…you see , i belong to this photography group and i am constantly told about how i MASSACRE MY pictures in photoshop…but i just cannot resist….grins..you’re really good at it though and you probably know it too…i’d love some feedback on mine …

    • I hear you, sonny! With all the editing options available the most difficult part is often knowing when to stop – it’s all too much fun!
Thank you very much for the kind words and for stopping by! I’d be happy to check out your work, too! 🙂
