Why, it’s the transom over our front door!
The good news is the other 4 lights are mint. Also this glass was already broken when we moved in, so I am not responsible. Which is nice. I think.
“Look, we put a label on every bag that says, “Kid! Be careful – broken glass!” I mean, we sell a lot of products in the “Bag O'” line.. like Bag O’ Glass, Bag O’ Nails, Bag O’ Bugs, Bag O’ Vipers, Bag O’ Sulfuric Acid. They’re decent toys, ya’ know what I mean?” – Dan Aykroyd / Satruday Night Live
About this image: Digital Photograph Moderately Manipulated
You take the MOST beautiful photographs. I just love them. PS: always nice when you’re not the one to break something. so much easier to live with!
Thanks so much, Dishy – that’s very kind of you to say!
It’s rare I’m not the responsible party… I could get used to the feeling, though! 🙂
what a creative eye you have!!
Thank you, Jillsy – as do you! 🙂
what kind of lens are you using. really cool shots.
This one was with an 18-55mm kit lens that came with my Digital Rebel… F-5.6-ish (I think) to get minimal depth of field.
Thank you very much, D.F.! 🙂
I love the photo. Am I missing something in the way you’ve spelt the title? I thought it was with an “o”
Thank you, N.M.!
You are not missing a thing – I am though. Primarily the ability to spell… pretty much anything correctly. Bearman caught a typo yesterday, too… this could start to get embarrassing! Anyway, I’ve given it the ol’ edit! 🙂
Bearman is the “Spell Check” Nazi 😦
I’m sure he’ll catch me again… very soon. Stupid spelling stuff. 🙂
I like how abstract it is! Very simple yet effective!
From your favorite simple mind comes another simple thing! 🙂
Graffiti, broken windows and a lucky shot….I’m starting to get an interesting picture here!!!!
Hahaha… well, it’s a start, anyway! 🙂
Nice image. Reminds me of an angel fish with the long trailing fins.
Hey… I see that now, too! Interesting!
Thank you, Binky!
🙂
Dude you got some skills with that camera.
You are too kind, my friend! 🙂
You played a part in my ongoing education. I just Wikipedia’d transom & now I know it’s not just the back part of a boat. Never heard of the word used with that meaning before
It’s one of only about ten words in my vocabulary, so I’m running out in a hurry!
What did we do before Wikipedia? I shudder to remember… 🙂
You had to look up the words in one of those paper book things. So old school…
That was a lot of work, wasn’t it? Makes me tired just thinking about it! 🙂
