Here is the last of my K&I images…
Lenses?! We don’t need no stinkin’ lenses!
I’ll have other pinhole photographs to share in the future… I’m building a new 35mm pinhole camera as I type. Well, not at exactly the same time; I’m not much of a multi-tasker. Anyway, this one’s made-o genuine wood, which should hold up better than its cardboard predecessors. AND it should be completed in time for worldwide pinhole day (April 24)! Huzzah!
How many cameras would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck cameras?
About this image: 35mm pinhole film scan – moderately modified
Such a surreal, dreamy quality to these. And that fireplace on the left looks amazing. Granted, b/c of the nature of the photo it’s a bit difficult to truly appreciate, but you get a sense of its magnificence. And I think I like it better that way. Another wonderful post, Inky!
You are far to kind, Dishy!
It’s a very cool fireplace – open on both sides – at Lumiere Place, in downtown St. Louis.
I enjoy just how simple these cameras are – basically a light-tight box with a hole (no bells or whistles there). Which is fun, sometimes. 🙂
I like this one, especially because of the way Kelly is standing and how she is lit with the window. It is very dreamy…
Thank you very much, Annabelle!
I don’t think I like the framing / composition as much as the first one, but I do like how everyone is posed… and I think I like the color balance here…
🙂
Yeah the color and poses are very nice.
Nice. Over the years I have kept most of my ‘crappy shots’ and have started re-visiting them. These out of focus and blurry shots of mine are proving to be interesting. I still have an affection for tack-sharp photos, but the former duds are proving to be useful. Which is a long way of saying that I am digging these.
Thanks Mr. J!
It’s funny you should say that – I’ve been noticing the same. I’ve got some shots I nearly threw away immediately after taking them, but now I’m kinda liking them / finding them useful in one form or another. 🙂
Pinhole photography, now there’s a course I would take. Take that Nikon!
Hahaha – I should take that course, too! 🙂
The ghostly image of the bride(?) is quite neat.
Thanks, Binky!
I think how the bride / groom were posed is my favorite part of this one…
🙂
Ghostly images with a pinhole cameras, eh? This might be just what I need to feed my ghost voyeurism fetish.
Who ya’ gonna’ call?
Ghost voyeurs!
🙂
This is nice SIG but I like yesterday’s more. 🙂
Thanks, S.E. – I think I preferred the composition of yesterdays more…
🙂
It’s so golden….
*ting*
🙂
Ooh ghostly peoples AAAIIIIEEEE!!!!!
I will have to research the Woodchuck question & get back to you.
Some assembly is usually required around here! 🙂
