An unintentionally lens shaken shot… proving:
1) how badly I need a tripod / I have ‘twitchyness issues’, and (worse still);
2) how lazy I am for not setting-up said tripod.
I typically delete these like they’re hot. I have a bit of a thing for this one, though…
Flight attendant: “Can I do something for you, Mr. Bond?”
Bond, James Bond: “Ah, just a drink. A martini… shaken, not stirred.”
– Sean Connery – Goldfinger
(*and every other ‘Bond’… in every other ‘007’ movie…*)
Where’s popeye?
On a late night spinach run.
🙂
It feels sort of lonely and isolated… but in a good way. 🙂 I love it.
Thank you, Annabelle –
it’s one of the first shots I took with my camera… which probably has something to do with why I like it…
🙂
Somehow it works, blurriness and all… 🙂
Thank you, M.P. –
I’ve been trying to tell myself that, anyway!
🙂
“unintentionally lens shaken shot”
Looks like it was a few too many martinis flight I would say 😛
You’re robably pight tbout ahat, Tony!
🙂
I like this image. It has a nostalgic feel to it
Thanks, N.M. –
that is very kind of you!
🙂
Bartender: “Shaken or stirred?”
Bond: “Does it look like I give a damn?”
From Casino Royal
I love that line and I love this photo 🙂
I think Daniel Craig is a pretty good James Bond…
although I still can’t believe I didn’t get a shot at the role…
🙂
Nice, at least there is no trans fat.
Ha! I’m all about promoting ‘healthy lifestyle choices’ around here, Mr. J…
now where did I leave that slab-o-bacon?!
🙂
I like it too.
That is very nice to hear, S.E.!
🙂
Thank god, for a minute I thought it was me. Gotta quit the early morning Vodka protein shake!!!!
Yes, it’s blurry but you’re right – it works! I love the glint off the glass in the background. A beautiful, unintentional shot!
A rare fortunate mistake, Dishy!
Thank you!
🙂
Take picture first. Drink bottles after.
My photography tip of the day.
HA!
Okieeeee-Dokie.
*burp*
Something about the blurriness is forcing my eyes to cross involuntarily. Seriously.
You cross your left eye in,
You cross your right eye out…
🙂
You’re being too honest! Keep schtoom and we’d have just thought you were being arty. 😉 I like it anyway, blurriness ‘n all and it proves that sometimes our mistakes are happy mistakes.
Thank you so much, Jayne –
that is very kind of you to say! I’m often dishonest, but at least I’m honest about that. 😉
Sometimes I do intend these things… those are usually the ones that don’t turn out, though! 🙂
Looks like one of the earliest photographs… when folks were still figuring things out. Very nice, even if unintentional, Inky. 😉
Thank you sir!
And not too far from the truth – one of my first photographs, too! 🙂
i take these by the million…somebody ought to gift me a tripod too…
sowwy…jus been wallowing my sorry ass in self pity…
Actually, that’s how I got mine!
I’ve been there, done that, and I’ll probably be there again very soon!
🙂
inky,
found you through dishy and have to say that i love your eclectic shots and the different effects you used on them. looking forward to more. 🙂
That is very nice to hear, Nat! I appreciate the kind words, and thank you very much for stopping by! 🙂
