Okay, this is a bit linear, right? I took a metric ton of photos for the Weekly WordPress Photo Challenge, but, being slow AND indecisive I’ve posted an older shot…
I guess you could say I’ve… hit… a wall? *finger on chin, Dr. Evil style*
I’m trapped between some blocks and a hard place? *cricket chirping*
But seriously, folks… what’s the deal with airline peanuts? *blank stares*
About this image: Ilford 35mm film scan – lightly modified
Why is there no graffiti on this wall?
Because I couldn’t think of anything to say.
I’m just kidding, by the way.
No need to alert law enforcement.
This time, anyway.
🙂
I’m disappointed – clearly you need to get your graffiti on.
Hahaha…
I have considered a ‘Krylon Tweety’…
allegedly.
🙂
Good old Fontbonne days… out in the cold, rolling around on the ground behind the art building to get this shot… ah yes, good times… I remember them well. 🙂
Do you think they miss us?!
😉
How could they not? 😛
Good point. 🙂
Umm, so why weren’t you guys in the shot “rolling around”? Come on, a high heel poking out of the railing maybe???
Hahaha…
I’m pretty sure I was the only one rolling around (Annabelle was probably trying to hide at that point…)
🙂
great angle on this photo. nice composition (i always feel fancy when i say that)
but i’m actually very unfancy.
“unfancy” I actually feel fancy when you say that.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt fancy…
I bet you’d never have guessed that, right?! 🙂
So is Fancy a girl or a guy?
HA!
OOOooo… it’s a lady!
*in my best Tim Medows ladies man voice*
🙂
I’m not sure I looked fancy taking this one
(pretty sure I was rolling around on the pavement at this point…)!
🙂
Airline peanuts???
Thinking, thinking, thinking…
Nope, sorry you lost me on that one.
I’ve lost myself on it, too.
It seems like it’s a stand-up staple (so I’m not sure why I can’t think of a good example)…
hmmmm…
🙂
Like when the comedy routine isn’t working… “Is this mike on?”
Exactly, Binky!
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…
🙂
It’s a very interesting angle.
Like it a fortress you must invade. lol
Thank you, sir!
You should have seen the moat!
🙂
Nice! Very neat angle on that shot.
Thank you, sir!
We angle to please! 🙂
Nice one SIG, good and contrasty. I can well imagine you wriggling about to get this shot. I often find people looking at me strangely when I’m taking pictures, I suppose they wonder what I’m looking at. Actually, on a few occasions they have asked me…
Thanks much, S.E.!
Very true! I’m filthy after a day of taking photos… I never remember it happening, but I always manage to crawl through every mud puddle around…
🙂
Inky, if you ever give up the career as artiste extraordinaire, you can always fall back on your stand up career.
Hahaha –
Maybe I can open for Charlie Sheen…
🙂
I like the angle of the shot, makes it look like I’m going to fall into it.
Thank you, G.G.
please remember, safety first! 🙂
i love the angle…just love the angle of this shot….
hmm…i think am gonna take part in this…
OOPS – I just noticed two of your comments had gotten stuck in my spam filter… sorry about that, Sonny!
And thank you! 🙂
Love it!
Thank you, good nurse! 🙂
This is a fantastic/perfect image!
I really like the symbolism here… the branches hangs over the fence. In some kind of prison… trying to reach freedom.
Thank you very much, Malin! This is a retaining wall by a kind of ‘loading ramp’ attached to a building I went to school at. I used to walk by it all the time (and I used it in quite a few photographs, too)!
🙂
It’s one of my favourites among your images that I have seen so far. 🙂
I’m very happy to hear that, Malin! Thank you!
🙂
My pleasure. 🙂
