And the same to you, FL, Thank you!
Your PCness has been duly noted (I’m not terribly PC but I’ve been working on it for anyone I might offend with my typical random crudeness).
🙂
I’m so happy to hear that, N.M…
thank you (believe it or not, I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to arrange / get those lights to work out okay…)!
🙂
Thank you, sir!
That is very interesting! Poinsettia is very popular here, too (especially around ‘the holidays’… you start to see them in many different kinds of stores. This one came from a supermarket / grocery store near our apartment).
🙂
With the high and low light and extreme saturation this was a bit of a challenge, but a lot of fun, too!
Thank you so very much, Ms. A! You are always so kind! We would like to wish you and your family the happiest of holidays as well!
🙂
Thank you so much!
This little one was on sale at our local grocery store. I just hope I can keep it looking nice for a while – unfortunately my thumbs aren’t the greenest!
🙂
I thank you, sir! And the same to you, of course!
Hahaha… I don’t know! But as long as it’s not on my shovel I guess I’ll try to keep from complaining (too much, anyway)!
🙂
WOW. SIG you’ve outdone yourself (again) with this wondrous photo. From the holiday light through the leaves, to the actually complex colors make me smile, and feel a tenderness.]
A cure for my bah humbug current feelings.
Hahaha… I thought I was the only scrooge around here, Ms. B!
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
And I’ll be wishing you a continued ease of humbug as well!
🙂
Unfortunately I’m not the best gardener, either. I’m hoping I can keep this little plant going, but I took the photo right away (so as not to press my luck)! Thank you so much for your kindness!
🙂
Happy Holidays everyone! And happy Winter Solstice today (a.k.a. Yule)! After this, the days will start to get a little brighter each day again! (At least for those of us in the northern hemisphere…) Personally I can’t wait to start seeing more of the sun again! Yay!!!
Thank you very much, sir! I thought it seemed appropriate-ish!
You are so kind – we hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas as well (and the happiest of new years, too)!
🙂
what a cool composition. hope you had a good Christmas (i tend not to be very PC, however am not offended if someone says happy holidays). and all the best to you for the new year. looking forward to many more not-so-much-kitschy-but-more-like-awesome-and-inspiriing-despite-your-moniker (not sure if that counts as a valid adjective) coming up. but no pressure!
Thank you so much, P&K – you are far too kind!
I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas as well!
(I’m not very PC, either, but… I’m working on it. A bit. Maybe.)
🙂
Beautiful colours. You can never have too many plants. I’m slowly catching up on my blog reading. The problem is that bogs update quicker than I can get through them all & once I get waaaay behind I look at my RSS reader & it’s hard to remember which ones I haven’t visited in a while. I use RSS Owl & I found a feature yesterday that sorts them into from recent visited to the oldest posts. This is helping me get more organised in not missing people’s blogs for too long.
Thank you very much, Mr. M!
No worries… I completely understand (happens to me all the time)! I’m just thrilled that you stop by when you get a chance, sir – I thank you for that!
🙂
I hope you and Annabelle had a wonderful Christmas!! Just in case I get sidetracked again… I wish you both a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! By the way- the most spectacular Pointsettia I have seen!!!
Thank you so much, Juana! I hope that you and your family had a great, Christmas, too!
AND all the best in 2012 (and far beyond)!
You are always so kind – thank you again!
🙂

And the same to you, FL, Thank you!
Your PCness has been duly noted (I’m not terribly PC but I’ve been working on it for anyone I might offend with my typical random crudeness).

I’m usually never PC but people get real thingy around (and I will whisper this) Christmas time 🙄
Hahaha…
I won’t confirm this, F.L.
(but I won’t deny it, either)!
🙂
Congratulations!!! 😀 You have just received a Versatile Blogger Award!!

Our favorite Farmer’s Market vendor gave us a white poinsettia last week as a “thank you” . . . it’s gorgeous sitting on our counter. 😀

Stunning. I’m so no good at keeping plants alive. This is so, so beautiful.
Unfortunately I’m not the best gardener, either. I’m hoping I can keep this little plant going, but I took the photo right away (so as not to press my luck)! Thank you so much for your kindness!
🙂
Will this plant help me to plant one on my wife? 🙂
Or was that some other Christmas plant. Hmm…
Mel you’re killing me. Luckily not via eating the poinsettia…
It might taste like chicken (or not), but it’ll have its revenge on you for finding out!
🙂
Ha! I guess it’s worth hanging one on the ceiling to find out (I think that’s the important part of that whole deal, anyway)!
🙂
Gorgeous, SIG. The way the lights in the background shine through the leaves creating such a warm red. Best poinsetta I’ve seen all season 🙂
Happy holidays to Inky and Annabelle. Joy, Joy, Joy!
You are too kind, S.F…

The happiest of holidays to you and your family as well!!!

You know what’s surprising? We’ve yet to invent a plant that waters us.
Or maybe that’s not so surprising.
I get those two confused sometimes.
Hahaha… now that would be a find!
A plant that could make sandwiches would be pretty cool, too.
Either way.
🙂
I like to grow them from bulbs……..they grow through so many changeshttp://wp.me/p1B5ek-mr
You sound very talented – I sure wish my thumb was that green!
I’ll be happy if I can keep the store grown one going!
Thanks so much for stopping by
🙂
