I’m afraid I will fall way behind with my comments today (depending on how Thanksgiving times-out), but I hope everyone has a good one… and a wonderful weekend as well!

Happy turkey day, SIG. Excellent photo. Gingers always do stand out. 😉
Thank you very much! I hope your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
Hahaha… I suspect that Annabelle would agree with you, Red! 😉
Nice. Very, very much so.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful click.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you so much, P&K! On all accounts!
You are always incredibly kind!
🙂
This is beautiful! I love how all the trees in the background have lost their leaves and here the red tree stands alone so lovely. SIG, I have a tree on my blog, too! And, it’s even red. Actually there’s more than one. I love this photo, because I actually like fog quite a bit! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! I hope you have a good one.
I’m really looking forward to checking that out! Sorry I got so far behind – I was away from my desk most of the day.
I was really excited to see the fog, too! And it actually hung around a lot longer than I had expected… at one point my camera battery died, but I still had enough time to run home, re-charge and run back out for a few more shots (before it died again)… pretty cool!
Thanks so much, B.F! I hope your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!
🙂
All your hard work paid off, SIG! It’s a beautiful photo. Love the fog.
Thank you very, very much, B.F!
I loved it, too… you should have seen me running around like a wild-man… I’m sure it was quite the spectacle!
🙂
Ah! Love the New Girl quote. Quickly becoming a new favorite 🙂 Gorgeous shot! Just woke up to find it super foggy outside my window. Of course it’s dark and the fog is glowing orange in the street lamps. A little too creepy Sleepy Hollow for my taste. Happy Happy Thanksgiving, dude.
One of my new favorites, too… not that I’m all quirky or anything… but… uh… yeah. 🙂
Sounds like the same situation we had here yesterday, Ms. N! Well, minus any headless horsemen. We actually had that last Wednesday.
Thanks so much, Ms. N! I hope your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
🙂
Someone forgot to pluck that one 😯 Happy Thanksgiving Annabelle and Sig 🙂
HA!
So that explains the giant tweezers that were chasing me around all day!
Thanks so much, Loon!!! We sincerely appreciate that!
🙂
I’m always so thankful for a rogue maple, and for any who provide one. Happy Thanksgiving!
And I’m thankful for such a kind comment! Very much so!
And I hope you had the happiest of Thanksgivings as well!
🙂
Now that is some kind of beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving. You are one of the ones that I am thankful for. You have really been a big encouragement to me over the past few years. Thanks.
Many thanks, Mr. L! I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
You are always so kind, Bo… you are just as supportive as anyone out there, and know everyone sincerely appreciates that… as well as your incredible creativity and talents! Thank you, sir! Very much!
🙂
It’s a perfect shot I like the fog and red Have a great day!
Thank you very much, sir!
I was very excited when I saw the fog outside my window! I wasn’t able to resist grabbing my camera and heading out right away!
🙂
Happy thanksgiving, Inky!!!
Thanks so much, Dishy!
I hope your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!
🙂
What a colour and what a contrast! Happy Thanksgiving SIG
Many thanks, Astra!
I was hoping I might stumble across something like this, so I was pretty happy to actually find this tree!
🙂
Absolutely stunning! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Thank you so very much!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!!!
🙂
perfect timing! How did you get rid of the leafs from the other trees? : oþ
Thank you very much, Mr. H!
Hahaha… the ones without leaves must have seen me coming and freaked out! 😉
happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well my friend!
Many thanks, Mr. B!
I hope that your family had a wonderful thanksgiving as well!
🙂
I also think it’s pretty cool that the other trees have lost all their leaves, leaving the bright red one to stand out in the mist.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving SIG!
I was hoping if I roamed around the park long enough I would be fortunate enough to stumble across something like this… so I was very happy to find this tree!
Thank you so much, Ms. C! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
🙂
That’s just a swell shot, Sig!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you very much, Nancy!
And thank you again! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!
🙂
That’s gorgeous — it reminds me of what I miss about living in an area with actual changing seasons. Happy Thanksgiving!
Stuff like this is pretty nice to see…
the plunging thermometer… not so much!
Thank you very much, Laura! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
🙂
Maple syrup always puts me in a fog.
Happy Thanksgiving, Robert!
I’m pretty much always in a fog even pre-maple syrup!
Thanks so much, sir!!! I appreciate that very much!
🙂
For some reason I read that as MENTAL fog
Hahaha…
well… that’s almost a given around here, Bearman.
🙂
This photo shot is gorgeous…I love the fog and the appearance it gives to nature. Excellent work, Sig!
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
My best to you and Annabelle! 🙂 xxx
Thank you so much, Deb! I was pretty excited to see the fog! It’s really wild how much it can change the appearance of things we see every day, isn’t it?!
Thank you again, Deb! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
🙂
Beautiful!!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
Thank you so very much, R,N.P!
🙂
That glorious red stands out so well against the grey sky. Makes me think of Hampstead Heath which is the closest we get to this in North London. Great shot 🙂
Thanks so much, Martin!
The fog was SO thick here a few days ago (a bit rare for the area) that you would never guess how urban the area surrounding this little park is… it was WILD! Needless to say I was having a great time with it all!
🙂
Wow–I can’t believe that one tree still has all its leaves and none of the others do. What a great shot! Nice of the fog to oblige you for that background.
My thoughts exactly, Madame! I was pretty exited to come across that crazy tree! And the fog! As sad as it sounds it kind of made my day.
🙂
Stunning – absolutely stunning, Spilled Ink Guy. Beautiful…
Hey, is that quote re gravy ‘blinders’ or cooking with ‘blinkers’ on? No need to answer – it’s thanksgiving 🙂
ENJOY!
Thank you so much! Very, very kind of you to say so!
Hahaha… well… to tell you the truth… I’m not too sure… things go a bit blurry when I’m this stuffed with potatoes and gravy!
🙂
Those other trees are like hey how come we went bald and she got to keep her foliage? NOT FAIR!
Hahaha… indeed!
It must have been a pretty uneven application of Tree-Rogaine!
🙂
That’s really beautiful, Robert.
I love how it’s generally all soft and misty but the colours still stand out. And a great compostion too.
Very very nice, Robert.
Why thank you, S.E! Very much!
I think this might be about the first time I can remember having the opportunity to shoot in fog this dense… I was pretty excited when I woke-up to it!
🙂
That tree stands out in the fog makes me wonder what makes it so lasting than others? … It might be love ^^
I had not thought of it that way, Cristina… but I do like the sound of that very much!
🙂
This is brilliant my great friend, you never
fail to please everyone… I hope that your
Tirkey eating holiday has been a very nice
one SIG 🙂 Have a fun rest of evening SIG
and of course the rest of the weekend too 🙂
Androgoth
And you never fail to leave an incredibly kind thought, A.G!
I thank you, sir! Very much!
Hard to believe how quickly the weekend has flown by already! I hope that you had a very good one, Andro!
🙂
It has been a rather wet and windy weekend my great friend, indeed it is still pounding down as I type this out and is forecast for the next few days 😦
Mind you the rain is better than the white stuff 🙂 lol
Have a fun evening SIG 🙂
Androgoth
It is a bit gray here today, too, Andro…
but you said it! Hahaha… better rain than snow, any day! Of course, I’d probably be okay with sunshine and about 75 F, too! 🙂
My mother would call that a brazen hussy of a tree, showing off like that! But how gorgeous!
Happy Thanksgiving in retro SiG and thank you for all the fun along the way, fog or otherwise!
Hahaha… absolutely! It certainly was a bold one!
And thank you so very much! I hope that you had a wonderful holiday as well, Ms. K!
🙂
This is really beautiful. By the way Bo is a little better. He is at home now.
Many thanks, J.B! 🙂
And thank you very much for the update on Bo… I’ve been a bit worried…

Excellent work Bob , i really love how you blend this image great idea my friend nice work 🙂
You are always incredibly kind, sir! I thank you!
I was so happy to see the fog (and have a chance to take a few photos)! Usually by the time I notice it (and grab my camera) it’s gone already!
🙂
What the hell is going on with that tree that it still has its leaves while all the others are naked? I’m thinking strip poker or pure bullying. Nice use of a white sky!
Hahaha… great.
Now I’ve got ‘Poker Face’ in my head.
And a ton of ‘Rounders’ dialogue. Not that I used to pretend I was a professional poker player, or anything. Which is particularly sad since I don’t even know how to play cards. Do you have any eights?!
🙂
Nice shot. I “liked” it so it will appear on my website and people will come and visit you to see more. Thanks for stopping by my site and liking my post “Ring Around the Tower”.
I sincerely appreciate that – thank you so very much!
And it was my pleasure… such a cool shot… it caught my eye right away!
🙂
This red tree looks amazing 🙂
I was so happy to come across this… it was so lucky!
🙂
Oh… I dunno how I got here. I was looking for a recipe & Googled “Maple Syrup in Frog”
Great photo!!!
Hahaha…
*Om nom nom*
🙂
Beautiful piece. Also a commentary on the current political climate here in Canada.
Hahaha…
or maybe the current state of my mind. Perpetually.
Thank you very much, sir!
🙂
Nice photo, great color, and I love the fog.
Beautiful image – the mist and colour work well together! 🙂
Just luck!
But I’ll take it!
Thank you, sir! Very much!
🙂
Luck makes up 99.9% of my images, don’t worry! 😉
I have to admit I’m a bit relieved to hear I’m not the only one!
😉
Definitely not! 🙂
That red tree really stands out nicely.
I was so lucky to come across this, Nigel!
🙂
So very very very pretty!
Thank you so much, Megan!
🙂
Thanks for the like… I love this picture! Love the red tree standing out in the fog!
My pleasure!
And thank you, too! Very much! For both the visit and the kind thoughts as well!!!
🙂
For some reason this is making me want syrup…
Reminds me of that scene from Super Troopers…
🙂
