Random fun with mechanically fastened fruit. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Return of the bondage fruit. Yay! π
To tell you the truth I hadn’t planned on this one happening, S.E. I was rummaging through a closet in search of a prop for something completely different when I came across a bag of machine screws… which of course led to, ‘What can I do with one of these…’. And then this happened. I guess. π
No fruit was hurt in the making of this…. just so you know. OK, maybe some slight bruising ….
Ha! It’s funny – I was SUPER careful because I was sure I’d mess them up beyond repair.
Well, ‘super careful’ if you don’t take into account the carefully drilled hole and the machine screw, of course.
π
Great movie….
It’s been a l-o-n-g time since I’ve seen it…
but that visual of DeVito and Schwarzeneger as twins… I mean… how can that NOT be funny?!
π
They should put Peter Dinklage and the Rock in the remake.
HA! Can you smeeeeeeeeellllllll… what the Lannisters… are cookin’!?!
π
Brilliant!
Thank you so much, Robyn!
π
I’d say this ball and fruit are made for each other, Robert (whatever you did to make them to stay together!) Who knew that a piece of fruit and a ball would look so good together. A very original piece!
Thank you very much, Amy! Lets see… there’s a machine screw in there… and two washers… and a nut. Half a Home Depot. π
The ultimate grape nuts! With bolts!
HA! Too clever, Patti! I love it!
π
Brilliant idea, Sig! π
Why, thank you, Deb! Very much!
π
How in the world did you do that without destroying them to smithereens?
Great image, SIG!
It was some fairly delicate maneuvering… kind of like that board game, ‘Operation’. Fortunately I didn’t have to worry about a buzzer going off our I probably would have wound up with at least two casualties.
Thank you very much, Ms. C!
π
Are those grapes? They look like eyeballs – very cool construction!
*blink blink*
Thank you, Peg! Very much!
π
Gooseberries love the closeness, mind you in this scent
they have no choice π Is this a Fetish entry SIG or New Wave
Wickedness? π Either way I like it my great friend π
Have a brilliant rest of evening and a superb weekend π
Andro
Oops… Grapes…
I am laughing my ass off π
Andro
Hahaha… potato / potatoh for the most part, Andro. I’d probably have tried this with some Goosberries if they’d been available, too, so… close enough in my book!
π
Thank you SIG I could have sworn they were gooseberries π lol Have a fun time today π π
Andro
Hahaha… well, you know… if there isn’t a lot of clearly visible signage I never really know, Andro. But that’s me, you know.
π
To tell you the truth I’m not exactly sure what / where this one fits in, Andro! I was rummaging around (looking for some different props for an entirely different photograph), when I happened to come across a bag of machine screws. Which of course left me wondering what kind of random stuff I could fasten together! Hahaha… then… this… happened!
Thank you very much, my friend! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend as well, sir!
π
It has been a good weekend SIG and I like your ingenuity, what a great idea it was screwing the fruits together, well the grapes anyway π lmao
I can’t wait to call in and
see what you have added
next π Yes replying from
my reader, how lazy of me π¦
Andro
I’m very happy to hear you’ve had a good weekend, Andro!
But, really, I think it’s just incredibly kind of you to leave a comment… doesn’t matter to me where / how it showed-up here… I very much appreciate it no matter what the platform!
Thank you again, sir!
π
You are welcome SIG
Have a brilliant rest of Monday
my great friend π π
Andro
Thank you again, Andro!
I hope this week has been treating you very well, too, sir!
π
Grapes, really? I didn’t see it at all until someone else mentioned it, but now of course I can’t see how I didn’t see it at first.
I know you know I’m going to say this, but omGGGGGGGG, I love this. It’s like the other fruit pictures I love so much but then just one step grittier. Just brilliant.
It’s kind of weird… I mean… I put this together, so I had a pretty major clue these are grapes… but even so. They do look quite a bit different than you might expect, don’t they?!
Aw, thanks, U.M! Very, very much! I don’t know… sometimes I wonder just what the heck I’m thinking sometimes.
π
Fascinating composition Bob – I’m going to be looking at this for a while to understand evrything going on in there π
Hahaha… honestly… I don’t know if there’s much sense to be made out of this one, Martin. Sometimes I just set-up bizarre still-lifes to… well… just to set up a bizarre still life, I guess.
π
Frankenfrut!
At leas no pears were abused.
Hahaha… Ug. Pears. I guess I have to give them a break every so often. If I have to.
π
Are you playing with your food again? Amazing, I never would have guessed grapes, either.
Hahaha… Very civilized of me, eh, Patti?! Well… I don’t know about this construction, but I do have a nice mashed potato castle complete with gravy moat that I’m quite proud of…
π
You just don’t see a lot of bondage porn involving grapes these days.
Right? What ever happened to grapes going wild, anyway?!
π
Is this the latest trend of headphones? π
Hahaha… I see exactly what you mean, Cristina! It really does look like some strange kind of headphones! π
Well done (if a bit creepy looking).

Thank you very much, Nancy! Both for your kind comment, and for sharing that information! *scratches head* hmmm…
π
Frankengrapes. Now you just need them to be charged with 50,000 volts & they will live!!! Mwahahahaha!!!!
I loved the Twins movie. Not even their mother could tell them apart
Until I read a few comments I thought they were 2 skateboard wheels bolted together. Excellent photo & great thinking outside of the square
Oh… yeah! Now that you mention it… I can see that, too! Absolutely!
Thank you very, very much, Mr. M! π
Aw, man… all I’ve got are a few old double A’s!
π
Very cool idea and a fun movie to back it up. That line is classic.
Hahaha… I don’t know where these ideas come from…
I hope I don’t have a machine screw loose!
π
That’s one big rollerskate.
Hahaha… indeed! And anytime I’m on roller-skates you can expect one big crash, too!
π
You and me both my friend.
*Whew* Glad to hear I’m not the only one, J.B!
π
Do eyeballs grow on trees..?
Hahaha… difficult to say! I have the opposite of green thumbs (which means I would have the opposite of a happy eyeball tree, I guess)!
π
Ingredients: Nuts and fruits. Recipe: add genius, shoot.
Excellent!
I’m running dangerously low on that last part.
Still yielded an incredibly kind comment, though! Thank you very, very much, sir!
π
A composition in a totally different vine. π
I’m very ‘grapeful’ you stopped by, sir! You always leave such entertaining comments!
π
you are a brilliant con artist! er, that didn’t come out right π
Hahaha… well… you know. My legal team advises me to neither confirm nor deny this. Mere formality, of course. π
