Hawkish Physiology (faux wet plate collodion)

A detail of display at The World Bird Sanctuary. I believe this was from a Red-tailed Hawk, but the way my brain / memory works hiccups along, who knows.

Black and white and (implied) green all over! Not exactly what I had in mind, but you get the idea.  Have a great weekend, everyone!

Murphy MacManus: “Yeah, it’s St. Patty’s Day, everyone’s Irish tonight.”

This fish seemed like a good candidate for my first attempts at gum printing –  (original digital mackerel here). Still a lot to learn / improve upon, but things seem to be going okay… so far…

Oseary Drakoulias: “…you must swear, legally swear, that you will not kill that shark, or whatever it is, if it actually exists.”

Steve Zissou: “I’m going to fight it… but I’ll let it live. What about my dynamite?”

Oseary Drakoulias: “Phillip, dynamite.”
