Point Betsie… last summer-ish.

Frankfort Light

Here’s an image from our trip (sort of). It wasn’t raining and the lamp wasn’t lit at the time, so I B.S.ed that part with wet plexiglass and a flashlight. I could have done something very similar with Photoshop only, but I wanted each droplet to reflect/refract/distort the image and was curious how ‘real’ light would interact with ‘real’ water. *ting* Why make things easy, right?!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Point Betsie

Anybody have a light?

I wonder if this thing runs on a 60 watt?

Does this remind anyone else of a foghorn? How about Foghorn Leghorn?

I say, I say I need a nap. Or more caffeine. Or both. Can you tell?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot… this is Point Betsie, in Frankfort Michigan. Yup.

Cantilevered?

Is anybody out there?! I hope so… the villagers might have revolted yesterday… so, today I have a calm, lightly toned, black and white image to share. Although the random craziness of this blog is what makes it fun-ish (I think). It’s like Forrest Gump. Or his proverbial box of chocolates, anyway.

I’m not sure what to title this photo… I keep going back and forth. It was called ‘port’ for a while. Then ‘cantilever’. Then ‘cantilevered’. Not sure I’m cool with those, though. Any suggestions? Besides “STOP FORREST, STOP”, that is?!
