Jules Verne

Apparently my computer doesn’t always ‘work’ these days. So, if I suddenly disappear, that’s probably why. Also, here’s my drawing of Jules Verne.

Jules Verne Drawing: “Imagine, if you can, a world filled with lighter-than-air machines… of submersibles… capable of exploring the greatest watery depths…”

Me: “Or, if you can, imagine a technology that always works… just as it’s been designed to do… with the simple push of a button!”

Jules Verne Drawing: “Dude! You are totally blowing my mind right now!”

Twain (in progress)

Friday is Mark Twain’s birthday so posting one of my author drawings seemed appropriate-ish (Poe here and Alcott here). I’ve been transferring these drawings into 3-D / Mixed Media pieces (about 95% complete) which I hope to finish in a decade or so. If I’m lucky.

Mark Twain: “Are you ever gonna finish one of these confounded ‘projects?’ I swear, son… you are slower than molasses on a winter’s morn’!”

Me: “Mole… asses?!” *giggle*

Mark Twain: *sigh* “I do declare… that boy may be a bit dull, but at least he’s plain-spoken!”

Here’s more of my ‘author series’ (Poe here – Twain to follow). I’ve been turning these drawings into 3-D / Mixed Media pieces… but… it’ll probably be a while before I post images of a finished product.

Louisa May Alcott Drawing: “I could write a whole novel in less time. Even without  hands. Seriously, dude. I’m a drawing.”

Me: “Geez Ms. A… that’s kinda harsh…”

Poe (in progress)

It’s been a while since I posted a drawing, so here’s a look at Eddie. I drew him as part of a mixed media author series. This drawing’s done, and the piece itself is about 95 percent finished (which means I should have the whole thing complete in about a decade or so).

Raven: “Knock knock!”

Poe: “Who is there?”

Raven: “Orange…”

Poe: “Are you serious? Come back when you’ve got some decent material, dude!”
