Coke Bottle with Flowers

I intended to paint the Coke. But then I drank it all. It’s kinda my thing.

(Also…tomorrow Annabelle and I kick off our Big MFA Program World Tour. 2013. Hopefully I won’t say anything too ridiculous. See you in a bit!)

Leland Harbor at Dusk

It was getting late at Leland Harbor and, as we were leaving, I happened to glance over my shoulder just as this light turned on (kinda fortunate). Also (speaking of being late), my blog-rounds will likely be later than usual today. Please bear with me, and have a great weekend, everyone!

Judge Smails: “All right everybody, it’s time to christen the sloop!”

Mrs. Smails: “Come along, children… you can shake your booties down on the dock.”

Reflecting Shadows

Outside The Sleeping Bear Inn last summer (which is totally abandoned, so… you know… it’s not like that). Have a great weekend, everyone!

Morpheus: “To your left there is a window: open it…”

Frog

I’m cautiously trying to ‘hop’ back into the whole… non… absence thing. Also, I’ve come to appreciate animals that show no fear (or any ambition re: movement). Unless… you know… they’re bigger than me. Or rabid.

Delmar O’Donnell: “Can’t you see it, Everett? Them sirens did this to Pete! They loved him up and turned him into a… horny toad! Pete? Pete! Pete! Pete! Pete! Pete! Pete! Pete… it’s me… Delmar! It’s me… Delmar! Everett… what are we gonna’ do?!”

Everett McGill: “I’m not sure that’s Pete.”

Delmar O’Donnell: ” ‘Course it’s Pete, look at him! We’ve gotta find some kind of wizard can change him back!”

Everett McGill: “I’m just not sure that’s Pete…”
