Reflecting Shadows

Outside The Sleeping Bear Inn last summer (which is totally abandoned, so… you know… it’s not like that). Have a great weekend, everyone!

Sometimes I just can’t decide what to call these things… or what to say about them. Words. Anyway, have a great weekend, everyone!

Hannah Green: “And even though you’re book is really beautiful, I mean, amazingly beautiful, it’s… it’s at times… it’s… very detailed. You know, with the genealogies of everyone’s horses, and the dental records, and so on. And… I could be wrong, but it sort of reads in places like you didn’t make any choices. At all.”

A First Draft

More birds today…  of the ‘hunting and pecking’ variety. If this dude looks a little familiar it’s probably because he also posed for ‘ A Spot of Tea ‘. Although this time I drew him perched on a typewriter. So… there is that.

Grady Tripp (narrating): “So there it was. Somewhere in the night, a Manhattan book editor was prowling the streets of Pittsburgh; best-selling author at his side, dead dog in his trunk.”

Wind Turbines

It’s been all cold and windy lately. Which means it’s wind turbine time, I guess. And 80’s night. Naturally. Have a great weekend, everyone!

… you spin me right round, baby

right round

like a record, baby

right round, round, round…

A Spot of Tea

So… don’t tell anybody, but… just between you and me… I think tea is kinda for the birds. Coke me, bro!

Dennis Reynolds: “Your voice needs to come off as elegant as your clothing… okay? So… try this, ‘would you like a spot of tea’? You, ‘yeeeEEEeeesssSSSss’!”

Mac McDonald: “Would you like a spot of tea? YeeEEeessSSss!”

Dennis Reynolds: “Draw it out more.”

Mac McDonald: “Draw it out more than that? More like… YeeeEEEeeesssSSSsss!”

Evening Blacktop

It’s been a while since my last Holga post, so I decided to rock another.

AND, dear readers, it’s time for an experiment… let’s see what happens to my stats if when I throw a random ‘twilight’ tag into this post. I mean, technically, it was ‘twilighty’ when I took this photo; I just didn’t happen to be attacked by any tween-aged vampires. I don’t think. Although… I’m fairly certain I used to have a reflection…
