It’s been almost a year since I posted a more neutral version of the above, so I figured I’d share this colorful edition today (and, if my computer remains unconscious, you might see a yellow version sooner than later, too). Have a great weekend, everyone!

I liked the other one, too.
Thank you, Red.
🙂
I like it any way you color it!!! 🙂 It´s been a while since I have been around… how have you been my friend?
Why, thank you! Very, very much!
I have been doing okay, I guess – I hope that you have been well, too!
It was very nice to hear from you, Juana! Thank you again!!!
🙂
I liked the first one with it’s lovely subtle colouring and I like this more punchy one too, Robert.
I hope your computer wakes up.
I hope my new phone arrives soon too.
I’m on my sister’s computer at the moment, hence I am “allowed” to press the like button. 🙂
Thank you, S.E! Very much!
I hope your new phone arrives soon, too (you being without one is kinda like van Gogh finding himself with only broken brushes)! And I hope it’s even nicer than your previous one!
🙂
The old one still takes photos ok. It just doesn’t like wordpress much any more. The new camera has fewer megapixels but I think Nokia camera phones are pretty good so fingers crossed. And I should be able to download a wp app which will hopefully make making posts less excruciatingly slow – different operating system.
What’s happening with your computer?
Oh… I see… yes, that sounds like a problem! To tell you the truth I know very little about phones (including the differences between various makes / models)… but from what I’ve seen you do with your phone I’d sure believe what you say! Seriously, you would think the Nokia people would sponsor you… send you one of the first of each new model they make! It would be very good publicity! 🙂
Speaking of not understanding much about hardware… yeah. My computer doesn’t even want to boot-up. I mean, it is old-ish (8 years – still running Windows XP – and has a ridiculous amount of hours on it)… but…
Yesterday I thought there was a glimmer of hope when I actually got it started – but then it got hung-up while I was trying to run some maintenance (and then wouldn’t boot-up again). *sigh* Oh, well. 😦
very cool indeed – or rather, very warm according to the red glow.
hope your computer woes end soon. made some progress on my camera – I now know where I can drop it off (at the other end of town, no less) and I will learn if my extended warranty was worth what it cost (= that my camera will be repaired at no additional cost to me).
Hahaha… absolutely! Thank you, P&K!
It sure sounds like you are headed in the right direction! I know just what you mean about the extended warranty thing – I’m never quite sure what is covered (or not) under all the typical legal-speak…
I sure hope they take care of everything for you – especially on a product that is so new yet – it really does seem like the decent thing to do! Best of luck to, P&K – you will have to keep me updated!
🙂
I like the red. Definitely makes the skyline pop! Awesome job, mister!
I’m very happy to hear that, Ms. N! Thank you!
🙂
I like this version as the red is so vibrant
and offers an electric feel to the whole piece,
of which is brilliant my great friend 🙂 🙂
A visual feast indeed 🙂
I was hoping that the different ‘energy’ might be interesting enough to warrant posting more than one version of this…
so your comment is particularly nice to hear!
Thank you very much, sir!
🙂
It’s amazing how the colour change completely makes it something else. I like the red. It makes you want to go”paint the town red!”
It’s kind of wild, isn’t it?! Er, I thought so… maybe. Anyway, thank you so very much!
Hahaha… well, if I HAVE to!
🙂
Ooohh, Robert I like the red. It’s so wild and bold! It’s amazing how a different color can create a whole different feeling. I kind of like the glitches in “The Matrix.”
I was thinking the same thing – which made it kind of difficult to choose – because there were so many different options / feels!
Aw, thank you very much, Amy!
🙂
Cool….I like the red version best!!!! Have a great weekend!!!
Excellent! And thank you, Mary! Very much!
🙂
That’s a very strong Black and Red motif… I wouldn’t want it hanging on my office wall but it could be nice in the hallway to warm it up! 🙂 Hope you can boot some life into your pc over the next few days. I’m assuming you’ve done all the usual disk clean, etc.
THank you very much, sir! I guess that’s how I feel about this kind of color, too… kind of fun to play around with every now and then, but staring at it for too long might break something in an eyeball! 🙂
Ugh! To tell you the truth I know NOTHING about hardware! For the longest time I couldn’t even get the silly machine to boot far-enough along to try anything. Last night I did manage to actually get my check-disk utility started, but it got hung-up again and didn’t want to boot past the start-up screen again. Yikes! I don’t know what any of this means, but it doesn’t seem like it can be good! 😦
This is really cool! Or should I say “warm?” I like this effect.
Thank you very much, Patti! Maybe the ‘warm’ is another one of my subconscious attempts to encourage spring to appear (and stay)…
🙂
Yes, well, you keep right on until it gets the message.
It sure seems like the thing to do!
🙂
If your computer remains unconscious maybe we will see a “blue” version
Hahaha…
Yeah, I’ve seen that version a few times already…
😦
I like the red version. Very vivid!
Thank you very much, sir! Sometimes I have to remind myself it can be fun to work with color… and then I go way over-board! 🙂
Thanks for swinging by SLTW the other day, Binky. I accidentally deleted your comment when I went to approve it. Mea culpa.
Wonderful piece. Hoping your computer woes will be over soon. I guess if the situation is prolonged, we will be getting the St. Louis Blues.
Thank you, sir! 🙂
Yeah – I thought I was making some progress yesterday… but it was very short-lived…
It looks N. Korea has attacked just outside of St. Louis. Gotta love morbid humor… or not 🙂
Hahaha… oh, man! I probably should quit while I’m behind… I feel like I could get myself into trouble…
🙂
it looks very super-hero-comic to me. Hope your computer issues get all better soon – that has got to be all kinds of frustrating.
Ka-POW! Thanks, Peg! That’s super-kind of you!
Absolutely! Super-frustrating!
🙂
is this propaganda? :-p
Hahaha… I’m afraid that information is ‘classified’…
🙂
The red back ground is so impressive. It’s very unusual like a space.
Thank you very much, sir! I was hoping it would be interesting (since it’s not exactly the sort of thing you see every day).
🙂
Meet me in St Louis , Louie. Land of the rising sun.
Hahaha… and AWFULL pizza! 😦 Wait… did I just say that out loud?!
🙂
Wow, excellent. You’re crafty!
How very generous of you to say! Thank you!
🙂
Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight! My gosh, how time flies when you’re having fun. Thanks as ever SiG for the glow!
And thank you so much for your kind thoughts, Ms. K! I’m so happy you liked this – I wasn’t sure if it was pushing it a bit to post two different versions of the same image or not.. so that is a very nice thing to hear!
🙂
You might share this one with the local tourism board or chamber of commerce. I can see it on t-shirts, posters, etc.
Hahaha… or maybe they’ll give me some free goodies to stop making stuff like this!
🙂
I thought I liked the other one better, but no, this is my jam. Which is not a phrase I ever use. Sorry about your computer. Please draw a comic in the meantime.
Well you can pull it off, though, U.M! Sadly I’ve never had that kind of cred!
As long as its okay to digitize it via my phone camera, because… yeah… *sigh*
🙂
I just had Deja vu on March 18. I remembered it quite well. Thanks for sharing the Matrix 😀
I know I’ve had that feeling before, too – although I can’t remember specifically when / what about.
🙂
I like this version! 🙂
Wonderful! Thank you, Deb!
🙂
You have a great eye for vector art.
How kind of you to say, sir! I thank you!
🙂
