Today’s post is a vague reference to cartooning legend Bearman’s green-haired avatar… and his annual charity challenge! If you haven’t already, please click here to find out how Bearman is once again donating his very own green to some great charities including: The Cincinnati FreeStore Foodbank, The Brandon C Gromada Head and Neck Cancer Foundation and Crayons to Computers. It’s a good deal from a good dude.

How cool, Robert. I’ve never heard of Bearman, so thanks for the introduction! What a great endeavor. I’d like to help him out. These trees/bushes? remind me of cartoons where they hide behind it and move along, stop when someone suspects…Is it something like that?
Wonderful! Yes, he’s a very entertaining guy! He is one of the first people I met when I was working on my webcomics (quite a few years ago already)… and he was good enough to stick with me even though I completely changed formats, etc. He does a lot of pop-culture / social commentary. He’s very entertaining – and talented – and generous, too!
Hahaha… maybe so, Amy! I hadn’t thought of that! I hope I didn’t wind-up scaring any hidden cartoon characters!
🙂
RJ I am going to have you write my resume. I sound so much better when you say it.
Hahaha… I’m not so sure anything I have ever said makes any sense…
I communicate like I’m in the ‘Space Odyssey’ ‘gorilla scene’…
Hey if he had blue hair we could
have likened him to Marge Simpson,
but what a scream this one is SIG 🙂
Just brilliant 🙂 🙂
Enjoy your day my great friend 🙂
Andro
HA! So true! And I’d be busily figuring-out how to dye these plants blue, too!
Many thanks, Andro! Very, very kind of you, as always, sir!
🙂
Marge wouldn’t go for my green hair.
Hahaha… maybe Patty or Selma would?
🙂
Hi Inky…too funny 😀 I hope the green-haired one gets lots of donations.
Why, thank you! I’m sorry, Marry – I should have written the post a bit better, but he is actually making the donations himself (in exchange for people following him on G+, or blogging about the challenge, etc.)… I think he’s already pledged over a thousand dollars so far – pretty cool, isn’t it?! 🙂
He is supporting some very worthy causes, thanks for sharing.
Agreed! It was the least I could do… he’s an incredibly generous guy!
🙂
What a terrific way to use the blogosphere for good. Right on! I dig it! (And some other slang from the `70s.)
Far-out, Ms. C! Thank you!
🙂
Anyone with green hair is OK in my books. Especially when he is this funny. Thanks for pointing me in his direction. Hopefully, he will break the bank with raising the dough!
Absolutely! And thank you very, very much!
I think he might just do it! What he’s doing over there is incredibly impressive!
🙂
He does good work.Ilike what youdid with this.
Absolutely! I couldn’t agree more, Bo!
And thank you very much, sir!
🙂
Thanks so much for sharing!!! I think I am going to hit my max. I better work another job to afford next year.
Don’t mention it, Bearman! You’re the one who we should be thanking!
🙂
Thanks for the link Bob , Beautiful work and foundation I found in bearmancartoons love it 🙂
And thank you, Jake! Very much, sir!
🙂
So which one is Bearman?
Hahaha… a very good question, Binky! He’s like a chameleon!
🙂
5 bushes walk into a bar…..
*donk donk donk donk donk*
🙂
Bearman just might make his cap this year! 🙂
Great photo, Sig! 🙂
Have a great week!
I think so, too, Deb! Pretty awesome!
And thank you, Deb – very much! I hope you are having a good one as well!
🙂
” Now Mam, all you have to do is identify the shrub that jumped out at you from this line-up. Just take your time.” scene from “The Usual Garden variety Suspects – The Landscaper’s Cut “
Hahaha… the guy on the left seems to be looking a bit
greennervous…🙂
Cousin It has been cloned and gone green at the same time! What a great job Bearman is doing and will click over there to help in some small way.
Hahaha… *dun dun dun dun – snap snap*
Absolutely! He’s an incredibly generous dude – and I know he will appreciate your stopping by very much, Ms. K! Thank you!
🙂
Bearman’s “Save the Parking Lot Bushes” campaign coming soon! But seriously, I like Bearman’s style. 🙂
Hahaha… I’ll have to remember to bring him a few snacks when he ties himself up to one of them!
Me, too, Dave! Me, too!
🙂
Green hair is sooooo Ohio. What a great endeavor! And a great guy, clearly.
Hahaha… I would’ve guessed a lot of ‘Ohio-hair’ was red and silver…
🙂
Support! Support! He is a great guy with kind heart! The world needs more of these people! 😀
Absolutely! You’ve said it perfectly, Cristina – I couldn’t agree more!
🙂
Beautiful simplicity, Robert. The trees look a bit like creatures… waiting!
Thank you very much, S.E! I kind of liked the near-symmetry… and the little mark on the wall, etc. that threw it off just a bit, too.
🙂
It’s an interesting pattern. I like the art.
Many thanks, sir! I am very happy to hear you liked this!
🙂
I just live your bear man garden.
Hahaha… it’s looking quite a bit better now that it’s warmed-up a bit…
🙂
